Deputy Director

A 500-acre estate set within the beautiful surroundings of the Yorkshire countryside, Yorkshire Sculpture Park (YSP) provides a stunning and unique backdrop for its permanent and visiting world class exhibitions. YSP has evolved over the last 40 years into a world-renowned site, and is now considered to be one of the best places worldwide to see contemporary and modern sculpture, attracting 500,000 visitors every year from all over the world.

With new capital projects on the horizon, and the need to develop areas of strategic direction and growth, YSP is seeking an exceptional Deputy Director to work with Peter Murray CBE, Executive Director and Founder.

You will bring excellent strategic leadership skills and will work with Peter to ensure that YSP continues to be a global player in the production and exhibition of contemporary sculpture. An inspiring leader of people, you'll be able to foster a high-performing, entrepreneurial, innovative and supportive working culture, and with excellent financial and business acumen, you will be responsible for the financial management of the organisation. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with people at all levels. You'll also be able to demonstrate an understanding of the challenges facing UK arts organisations in today’s climate.

Commis Chef

We are recruiting to for a Commis Chef to support the Kitchen Manager with the management of all aspects of food preparation and production and assisting the smooth kitchen operation.
